Events West, the parent company of BayEvents, LAEvents, VegasEvents, DirtySouthEvents,
and FresnoParty is looking for individuals to join our Marketing Team as Marketing
Interns during the Fall of 2006.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented,
possess a willingness to take on multiple tasks and to work with deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Designing and executing a marketing plan on both a regional and national level
(for our regional websites as well as Events West)
Participating in business development/creative strategy meetings
Coordination of marketing programs including: retail promotions, strategic event
planning and execution, advertising, street promotions
Setting and managing a budget
Requirements:
Must have a car (our office is located in San Francisco and is not easily accessible
by public transportation)
Business/Marketing/Communication majors preferred
Experience in marketing/promotions and public relations a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong sense of urgency
and motivation
Must commit to at least 15-20 hours per week
Must complete the entire Internship Program- September 1st, 2006-December 1st,
2006
*This position is unpaid but may lead to paid work with us down the line. We
are willing to do what’s necessary to help you receive school credit for
this internship, as well as provide references and letters of recommendation.

Street Team Members:
Are you a regular South Bay Partygoer? East Bay? San Francisco? Do you like to bar hop on any given Friday night, lounge with friends on a Saturday, attend a festival on a Sunday? BayEvents is looking for Paid Street Team Members who want to make money while having fun! Street Team members will assist with the promotions for our company and our clients. The Street Team will interact with people all over the Bay Area, work with clients, create a positive company image and, above all else, have a good time!
As a BayEvents Street Team Member, you would sign up on a first come, first served basis for events you would like to attend. This gives you the flexibility to go out the type of events you like as well as create your own schedule.
The requirements for this position are as follows:
- must have a reliable car
- must have at least a 3 mega pixel digital camera
- must have reliable internet access
- must be at least 18 years old
- must be able to attend our weekly Street Team Meetings (these are mandatory)

The ideal candidate will be in their junior or senior year of high school, be interested in marketing, promotions, business and/or entertainment, organized, dependable and eager to get hands-on experience with the company.
Responsibilities: Office/Administrative work, including answering phones, sending faxes, emails, mail, filing Internet Promotions Field Promotions
Requirements: Must have a car (our office is located in San Francisco and is not easily accessible by public transportation) Must commit to at least 10-15 hours per week Must complete the entire Internship Program
